We love to share who our amazing team members are. Meet Shirin Forsyth, Team Lead. Shirin has been with Soft Landings, Solutions for Seniors for over 6 years. Here is a little more about Shirin:
What brought you to Soft Landings?
I ran into a friend who was working with SL and she told me everything about the job that she loved. I could relate to everything she did for seniors having gone through it all myself. From relocating my Midwest in-laws to Portland to taking care of and downsizing my dad.
What do you enjoy most about your job?
I have the best team of coworkers anyone could ever ask for. We support and work together seamlessly to ensure the job is well done. Along the way, I meet the nicest seniors who make my job fun and fulfilling.
What is your background?
I graduated from OSU (Go Beavs!) with a degree in Health Care Administration. The degree led me to multiple healthcare jobs including managing two primary care offices. When my two daughters came I stayed home to raise them. During my stay at home, I took care of my in-laws, my dad, a friend who had cancer and participated in many volunteer opportunities.
What do you do in your free time?
I love to spend time with my retired husband, play pickleball, hike, see my daughters, and enjoy time at the Oregon Coast and California desert.
