Are you a caregiver with someone with Alzheimer’s or Dementia?

Nov 19, 2019

Have you wondered where you can meet with others “in the same boat” to have a relaxed conversation about real issues?  We have a great Solution for you.

The Memory Café welcomes caregivers and people with dementia.

For some, it’s a place to learn more about their new diagnosis. For others, it’s a place to engage their fading memory by sharing their stories. For many, it’s one of the few places they can go without the fear of misunderstanding, judgment or stares.

The next Memory Café is Tuesday, November 19, 1:30-3 p.m. at Diversity Café, 2104 Main St. in Forest Grove.

Memory Café provides a welcoming and supportive environment for those with Alzheimer’s disease, dementia and memory loss, as well as their caregivers.

The free event includes complimentary coffee and refreshments, conversation, and a musical performance by Pacific University students.

It is a program sponsored by the Washington County Family Caregiver Support Program.
